Edie and John presented the fourth "Basic Horse Handling for Emergency Professionals" on Thursday, May 14 from 12noon-4pm at "The Farm" in Milton, Wisconsin.  Trainer Tracy Porter graciously agreed to host this training at her wonderful facility!  19 first-responders attended:  police, fire, humane, and EMS personnel.  Here are the links to the Janesville Gazette front-page story and the local radio pod-cast:

This is FREE TRAINING funded by the Wisconsin State Horse Council - Equine Foundation.  Spread the word!  We have one additional clinic currently scheduled:

Thursday, June 25 in Sparta from 10am-3pm - location TBA.

Contact Edie if you are interested in attending this clinic - enrollment is limited to 20 first responders!

Edie's clinics on Emergency Horse Handling at the Midwest Horse Fair on Saturday, April 18, 2009 went well.  HotShot continued to distinguish himself as "super-horse" after an almost three-year absence from large crowd situations!
